The Animal Retreat is a dog daycare and hotel located along Guillemard Road. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for passionate dog lovers to join our team as Dog Daycare Handlers!
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for all dogs
- Handle general housekeeping duties, including cleaning up after dogs
- Observe and understand each dog’s personality, behaviour, and play style
- Supervise group play sessions and engage dogs with enrichment activities such as puzzles and games
- Walk dogs daily and ensure they receive adequate exercise
- Prepare and serve meals according to feeding schedules
- Communicate with pet owners and provide updates on their dogs
- Capture photos and videos for daily updates to owners
- Assist with grooming tasks such as showering dogs
- Support special activities including monthly outings and swimming sessions
