- Draft detailed scale plans for M&E, based on preliminary concepts, sketches, engineering calculations, specification sheets and other data.
- Obtain and assemble data to complete designs, visiting job sites to compile measurements as necessary.
- Develop detailed design drawings and specifications, using computer-assisted drafting (CAD) equipment.
- Review and analyze specifications, sketches, drawings, ideas, and related data to assess factors affecting component designs, procedures and instructions to be followed.
- Compute mathematical formulas to develop and design detailed specifications for equipment and systems, using computer-assisted equipment.
- Modify and revise designs to correct operating deficiencies.
- Other duties as assigned.
