Overview EDG Inc Job Summary: The Intern Drafter will assist other drafters in preparing drawing packages for issuance of offshore/onshore piping, structural and electrical design systems utilizing/training in 2D and 3D modeling software. Job Duties and Responsibilities Assist piping, structural and electrical groups with redline mark-ups on drawing packages; Assist other drafters in creating drawings for assigned projects from information supplied and verbal instructions from drafting group leaders while under their tutelage; Responsible for keeping their direct supervisor/group leader updated on any and all concerns relating to their respective assignments and discipline; Assist/learn from drafting groups to ensure that all drawings adhere to client, and/or company Drafting Standards; Assist/learn from drafting groups to ensure that all drawings adhere to client, company and/or industry Design Standards.
