Draughtsman POSITION INFO:
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Drawing technical designs with SolidWorks
• Prepare plasma-nestings and manage it on SigmaNEST
• Optimise material usage, manage waste and increase efficiency
• Assist with plasma cutting and bending
• Work closely with the CNC operator to ensure optimal completion of jobs
• Ensure correct materials are specified and available for production
• Support the workshop team to ensure optimal production flow and timeous delivery

Skills: Knowledge of SolidWorks (essential), Good understanding of mechanical design and production processes, Able to read and interpret technical designs, Experience in plasma cutting and nesting software an advantage, Experience in the steel industry an advantage, Knowledge of bending processes and material behaviour an advantage
