Drill Assistant
The purpose of this role is to assist in setting up and preparing drilling equipment, ensuring precise hole measurements and enhancing drilled sample quality.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to all health and safety practices requirements and promote good housekeeping.
- Assist in the setup and preparation of drilling equipment as instructed.
- Support the drill operator to ensure correct planned sequencing is executed.
- Transport drilling tools, equipment, and materials to and from the drilling site, helping to organise and maintain an efficient workflow.
- Prepare drilling sites by clearing debris, levelling terrain, and performing basic groundwork.
- Participate in routine maintenance tasks for drilling equipment under the guidance of experienced drillers.
