Job Description
Driller required on contract bases for 12 months.
Responsibilities
- Operates the rig equipment in a safe and efficient manner to achieve targets.
- Ensures that the equipment is properly maintained and repaired.
- Performs additional drilling related well operations and any other special operations.
- Completes IADC drilling report, drilling logs, well control data sheets and other required records.
- Performs calculations such as maximum allowable shut-in, casing burst pressure, mud weight increase, initial and final circulating pressures, hydrostatic pressure, volume, maximum allowable mud weight and ton miles.
- Demonstrates knowledge of well control procedures and interprets and responds to downhole conditions.
- Locates information and data in cement tables, hydraulics books, drilling manuals, etc.
