Job Description
We currently have a vacancy for the position of Driver, based in Cape Town.
Overall purpose of the job: Responsible for the delivery of BCE goods in accordance with pre-determined route sheets and pre-planned schedules.
The duties will include but will not be limited to:
- Operating and maintaining vehicles with a focus on safety and customer service;
- Performing daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections;
- Performing minor maintenance tasks on the vehicles when necessary;
- Fuelling the vehicles and ensuring that periodic scheduled vehicle maintenance is completed and reported;
- Delivers goods in accordance with route sheets and pre-planned schedules;
- Ensures all POD's are returned for filing and reconciliation purposes;
- Ensures goods delivered are the same as goods shown on the delivery notes and queries with dealers are dealt with professionally and/or reported to the Operations Manager;...
