Job Description
Reporting to: Operations Manager & Despatch Manager
SPEC-Africa requires a highly experienced Driver with a valid PDP (Professional Driving Permit) to support operational transportation requirements by safely and efficiently transporting staff, materials, goods, and documentation as required. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely deliveries and collections, maintaining vehicle cleanliness and roadworthiness, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies, completing vehicle inspection reports, and managing route planning to ensure cost-effective and efficient travel. Strong time management, reliability, and a high standard of driving safety are essential for this role.
Responsibilities
- Receive instructions from Transport & Fleet Controller
- Responsible for stock/material while in transit
- Must be present while loading trucks – ensure material corresponds with Invoice / Delivery Note
