Job Description
The Delivery Truck Driver is responsible for transporting orders from the Commissary, the Roaster, and the Warehouse to the outlets of Toby’s Estate Coffee Roasters.
Safety
- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations as well as with company policies and procedures.
- Conduct inspections of vehicle before departing to deliver goods.
Efficient Deliveries
- Review orders with the Commissary, the Roaster, and the Warehouse.
- Pack and load orders onto trucks according to company’s specifications.
- Monitor road conditions and watch for traffic congestion. Plan alternative routes to minimize driving time.
- Ensure orders and materials are delivered in good condition or the same condition when it was loaded.
- Review deliveries with outlets to ensure items are delivered accurately and complete.
