Job Overview
North Wales GP Out of Hours East Division invites applications for part‑time Drivers. Minimum 15 hours per month with shifts covering evenings, weekends, overnights and Bank Holidays. Hours are flexible and enhanced rates of pay apply for all hours worked during the out‑of‑hours period.
Main Duties
- Safely transport General Practitioners and Nurse Practitioners to home‑based patients and assist with treatment centre consultations.
- Communicate with the call centre, relay accurate clinical and non‑clinical information to the GP.
- Ensure vehicle roadworthy and contains equipment and drug boxes for home visits.
- Support other Out of Hours team and clinicians with call dispatching and contacting patients to book appointments when not driving, ensuring smooth service.
- Welsh speaking desirable but either Welsh or English speakers welcome.
