Driver/Waste Operative (Operations – HGV/LGV)


Macclesfield SK10 2NA

Hour: Working Monday to Friday 08:00 – 16:00 Every 3rd Sunday 06:00 – 14:00


but will get the following Friday off. hours per week.

Pay rate: per hour

Temporary role: 22 June to 18 September 2026

Role Overview:

Driving ton to collecting bin round the site

Key Responsibilities:

  • Duties will include driving a ton vehicle round a site collecting 1100 litre wheelie bins and various other waste.

  • Adhoc collections. Bringing waste back to the waste yard for sorting and bailing.

  • This job is 80% manual labour and 20% driving.

  • This role is physically demanding, you are always paired up with a second man on the wagon.

  • A full UK driving licence with category class 2 entitlement
