Reporting to the Chief Engineer, the
Duty Engineer
is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the property, its facilities and guest rooms to ensure that a high standard of upkeep and maintenance. He also oversees and is accountable for all preventive maintenance, major replacement of equipment, alteration and improvement works.
Our Expectations: Plan and coordinates the execution of preventive maintenance and repair schedules of all machinery, equipment and facilities and see to the proper execution by engineering associates or external agencies or contractors. Perform administrative duties such as inventory management, record keeping of engineering work / repair, etc. Ensure good housekeeping of the engineering workshop and that all safety procedures and rules are adhered to.
