Summary About the Position: This position falls under the DoDEA HQ Education Directorate Assessment Branch - located at the Mark Center Building in Alexandria, VA. This position is not covered by a bargaining unit. Responsibilities Provides leadership in the implementation of accessibility features, assessment accommodations, and alternate assessments. Serves as a DoDEA expert on special populations assessment and conducts ongoing technical reviews of policies to ensure they reflect mission objectives, requirements, and meet professional standards. Trains assessment liaisons, specialists, and other leaders in methods for implementing effective assessment practices in the online environment both in the existing assessment and in initiatives for assessment improvement. Provides support in the administration, development, implementation, and evaluation of accessibility and accommodations for DoDEA's K-12 system-wide assessment program.
