Job Description
- 2+ years of experience managing the Elastic Stack.
- Basic understanding of Elasticsearch architecture, sharding, node roles, and data tiers.
- Familiar with Elasticsearch v8.x installation and configuration.
- Knowledge of Elasticsearch queries (Query DSL, KQL, ES|QL).
- Familiar with Elastic APM, OpenTelemetry, or APM tools.
- Understanding of network protocols such as TCP, UDP, HTTP, SMTP, LDAP/AD, and SAML.
- Experience creating Kibana dashboards and visualizations using Lens.
- Familiar with Elastic data shippers like Elastic Agent, Beats, and Logstash.
- Basic experience writing Logstash pipelines.
- Able to troubleshoot Elasticsearch, Kibana, and Logstash issues.
- Basic Linux administration skills.
- Knowledge of SSL/TLS setup and configuration.
- Bonus: Familiarity with AWS services like CloudWatch, S3, and SQS, and Vega charts in Kibana.
