Electrical Designer, Mining
Location: St. Johns, NL; Brampton, Sudbury; North Bay, ON.
As a member of the mining team, you will design and draft accurate electrical drawings, support multiple projects, and collaborate with lead engineers to meet client deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the lead engineer and staff designers to design and draft accurate drawing packages.
- Create electrical drafting: single‑line diagrams, three‑line diagrams, grounding plans, wiring schematics, AC/DC wiring systems, loop diagrams, plan views and elevation/section drawings.
- Assist the lead engineer in designing power & lighting layouts, circuiting, fire alarm, automation & control, instrumentation, and electrical details.
- Prepare drawings in AutoCAD, MicroStation and/or Revit environments.
- Plot, scan, and issue project drawing and documentation packages.
