**The Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and analyzing voltage regulators, transformers, and their subcomponent assemblies using appropriate engineering principles. This role will also support R&D projects, manufacturing equipment improvements, and equipment modeling. The position reports directly to the Head of Engineering at the voltage regulator factory in Richland, MS.**
**How You’ll Make an Impact**
+ **Design electrical components for voltage regulators and transformers, with a focus on traction transformers.**
+ **Perform electrical calculations on transformer components (winding, core, insulation, heat transfer) to support design.**
+ **Utilize 2D software for engineering drawings and creating bills of material.**
