Job Description
Responsibilities:
Interpret and apply technical specifications and classification society rules to all design work. Ensure designs meet electrical standards for oil & gas and have knowledge of Integrated Automation Systems (IAS). Prepare and review single-line diagrams, electrical load analysis, and power plant documentation. Develop schematics for navigation, communication, fire protection, and alarm monitoring systems. Create detailed cable schedules, termination drawings, and perform cable tray and breaker sizing. Prepare testing protocols and align design deliverables with the overall project building schedule. Liaise with vendors for power management, propulsion, and IAS to ensure seamless system integration. Ensure FMEA compliance for dynamic positioning and conduct harmonic distortion analysis.
