Job Description
A leading client in the Rail Rolling Stock Industry is recruiting for Electrically biased Fitters to work on a new project based at their depot in Widnes, Cheshire.
This project is starting asap, initially until August 2026 with opportunities for extension.
Working Monday to Friday, hours are 07 :00-16 :30, working 45 hours per week.
Pay Rates start from £26.78 (Umbrella) per hour for the first 12 weeks, increasing to £27.50 (Umbrella) per hour thereafter following qualification under AWR. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a retention bonus payable on completion of the project.
Must be able to read wiring installation drawings
Experience in carrying out major electrical duties on rolling stock ideal but would consider experience from other industries including automotive and aircraft
Will also have Mechanical experience
