Job Description

ELECTRICAL & INSTRUMENTATION TECHNICIAN (CARBON PLANT)

Key Responsibilities

Electrical Maintenance:

  • Knowledge to perform Breakdown, preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on Furnace ramps, Anode handling system, Fume treatment plant and it's auxiliary systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair motors, MCCs, switchgear, transformers, VFDs, soft starters, and power distribution systems.

Instrumentation Maintenance:

  • Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot field instruments including:
  • Temperature transmitters and thermocouples
  • Pressure transmitters and switches
  • Flow meters

Control Systems:

  • Knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC SYSTEM (only), wifi and network architecture drawing understandings and different type of communication protocols
  • Monitor furnace fire control system components and process parameters.
