Responsibilities
- Study the electrical primary technical specifications in bidding documents (Bases de Licitación) of Comisión Federal de Electricidad (CFE), and sort out mandatory clauses, special conditions (high altitude, salt spray, seismic zone design), and technical scoring criteria.
- Identify potential technical risks (e.g., insufficient insulation coordination margin, excessive short-circuit current) and submit Technical Risk Early Warning Reports to the bidding leader.
- Develop electrical main wiring schemes (single bus, double bus, bridge connection, etc.) for substations/boosting stations, and complete general layout and structure/bracket selection.
- Calculate short-circuit current levels and determine rated parameters of main equipment (transformer capacity/ratio/impedance, breaker interrupting capacity, isolator rated current, etc.).
