Job Description
Role and Responsibilities
- Treat the General Contractors with the utmost respect and professionalism.
- Oversee the Foreman and inform owners or the office of any issues or concerns.
- Mentor and coach the foreman to become a better foreman and understand how their project affects the profitability of the company.
- Layout jobs assigned.
- Develop and send out material lists for quotes.
- Track orders – ensure material arrives on schedule.
- Order special material.
- Attend all job meetings (kick off, pre‑construction, job site, close‑out) and provide minutes to the office.
- Track and submit change orders.
- Pull permits and DR numbers, call for and set up inspections.
- Ensure all red lines are completed and all close‑out documentation is turned into the office in a timely manner to meet job deadlines.
- Work with other subcontractors such as Fire Alarm, Security, etc.
