Job Description

Well known and leading supplier of HIGH VOLTAGE electrical equipment requires an experienced Site Manager for construction sites.

Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Qualified Electrician / Technician with suitable experience
  2. Authorised person for HV Regulations
  3. Safety Representative Qualification (NOSA, SAMTRAC or equivalent)
  4. Ability to work unsupervised
  5. The incumbent will be responsible for the management and supervision of all substation construction and commissioning activities on site with respect to time, quality and performance.
  6. The position necessitates full-time site work, resulting in extended periods away from home.
  7. Supervision of bulk earthworks, earth-mat installation, civil works and building subcontractors
  8. Checking set out points and substation layout relative to design drawings
