Job Description

As the Electrical Team Leader at InfraBuild, based at our Newcastle Rod Mill, you will lead a team of electrical tradespeople to deliver reliable, cost-effective equipment that supports our /7 steel production. This is a hands-on leadership role where your focus will be on safety, team performance, and process excellence.


You’ll play a key role in:

  • Leading the electrical maintenance team to meet or exceed production goals

  • Developing and implementing effective maintenance strategies and improvement initiatives

  • Ensuring equipment reliability, process efficiency, and compliance with quality and safety standards

  • Coaching, mentoring, and developing your team to grow capability and performance

  • Monitoring performance, analysing data, and driving continuous improvement
