Job Description
Job Summary
The Electrician performs preventative and corrective maintenance in the area of responsibility, with oversight of the Chief Electrician. The Electrician communicates regularly with other departments (engine room, mechanic, electronic, subsea, drilling, marine and safety) as well as the client and other service partners when required.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Performs preventive and corrective maintenance on all electrical equipment which includes but is not limited to:
Main and Emergency Generators
Distribution (High, Medium and Low Voltage)
Variable Frequency Drives (Propulsion and Drilling)
Electric Motors (All motors including Propulsion Drive Motors)
HVAC Systems (Electrical Part)
General Lighting Systems
Galley and Laundry System
Coordinates planning and execution of preventive maintenance with a minimum of six-week overview to cover current hitch and half of...
