Summary The incumbent will be assigned to the Maintenance and Repair section at the Northern California Health Care System site in Martinez, CA, however, the position also entails traveling to other VANCHCS sites supporting our Outpatient Clinics. The incumbent performs the duties of a journeyman electrician under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor. Responsibilities Major duties include, but are not limited to the following: Perform installation, maintenance, and/or repair of utility system (i.e., generators, switch gear, controls, circuit breakers) within a facility. Maintains controls for equipment in industrial , institutional, office, and residential building. Performs work under own responsibility in installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical wiring systems and associated Fixtures, controls, and equipment in industrial, institutional, office and residential buildings.
