Job Summary:

Performs Nerve Conduction Studies and assists the physician with Electromyograms.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform all required procedures within the EMG lab including, but not limited to perfoming NCVs. Schedule and coordinate times for diagnostic services with other departments when necessary.

Assist physicians conducting EMGs.

Maintain filing, archiving, and storage of patient data.

Maintain designated work area in a safe, clean, orderly manner and advise supervisor of malfunctioning equipment or unsafe conditions.

Fire and retrieve EMG reports, answer incoming telephone calls, schedule appointments and perform other clerical duties as necessary or assigned.
