JOB DESCRIPTION
To conduct all Neurodiagnostic studies independently or under the supervision of a senior technologist.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Explains the test procedure to the patient to obtain the patient’s cooperation necessary for a complete examination.
- Measures and accurately applies electrodes in a timely manner, according to the International 10-20 System. Ensure that electrode impedance meet laboratory standards.
- Performs EEG record according to the standards of the laboratory (routine, sleep, and bedside).
- Performs long‑term video monitoring EEG in epilepsy monitoring unit.
- Performs Evoked Potentials such as Visual, Brainstem, and Somatosensory studies with high quality results.
- Performs Nerve Conduction Study in a highly skilled and patient‑appropriate manner and assist physician during EMG procedure.
