Job Description
This entry-level/early career, product-focused role is responsible for validation and testing of electronic and electrical systems for Cummins products. The position involves translating product and system requirements into robust test strategies, developing and executing validation plans, and ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of embedded software and integrated systems across various customer applications.
The role supports the full product lifecycle through testing, defect resolution, and continuous improvement of validation processes and tools.
Key Responsibilities
Test Planning & Strategy
Understand software requirements, system architecture, and use cases.
Define test strategies across unit, integration, system, and regression levels.
Identify test scope, entry/exit criteria, risks, dependencies, and contribute to project estimation.
