Electroplater
Location: Hayes, West London
Shift: 4 on 4 off
Salary: £34,000 - £38,000 (including shift allowance)
The Electroplater will play a crucial role in the surface treatment of aircraft components, ensuring they meet the highest industry standards for safety and durability.
Responsibilities
- Prepare parts for electroplating, including masking techniques.
- Perform surface preparation by grit blasting (advantageous but not essential).
- Execute a range of electroplating processes: Cadmium Plate, Dalic Cadmium plate, Nickel plating, Hard Chrome plating, Alocrom, Nital etch (acid etch inspection).
- Heat treat components as needed.
- Work in line with technical instructions and maintain quality standards.
- Adhere to environmental regulations associated with the electroplating industry.
- Understand procedures related to COMAH (training provided).
