About the Team / Service / Location
The Gisborne ED is managed by FACEM or vocationally registered emergency specialists working with urgent care doctors to treat a volume of about 28,000 patients per year, with a 25% admission rate. The team handles high acuity medical patients, trauma, and paediatrics, providing solid procedural opportunities and teaching support.
Qualifications
- Resident Medical Officers PGY3 or greater, or equivalent
- Completed at least a six‑month placement in an Emergency Department at Senior House Officer or Registrar level
