Overview
As an Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) with ALTA Paramedic Health (APH), you will assess emergency scenes, transport patients, and provide emergency care while maintaining accurate documentation.
Responsibilities
- Assess emergency scenes and patients.
- Provide simple treatments and complete patient care reports.
- Operate ambulances or other transport vehicles, including non‑emergent transport units.
- Ensure ambulances and transport vehicles are properly stocked and equipped in accordance with APH standards.
- Transport ill or injured patients from scenes to facilities and between facilities as required.
- Respond to incidents in all weather conditions and remote locations, including backcountry.
- Expose safely to hazardous and graphic scenes and direct bodily fluids.
