Position
Full‑time Trauma Physician – Trauma Team Lead/Consultant
Responsibilities
- Serve as the Trauma Team Lead/Consultant for trauma team activations and consultations.
- Act as the Medical Receiving Physician (MRP) for admitted patients while on‑call 24/7 for approximately 7 days every 2 months.
- During on‑call periods perform onsite daytime hours and home call within a 30‑minute travel time to the hospital.
- Collaborate with a team of 9 trauma physicians, consisting of emergency room physicians and surgeons.
Qualifications
- Willingness to work as a team with all physician colleagues and allied medical professionals at ARHCC.
- Fellowship in Trauma and/or Acute Care Surgery is an asset but not required.
- Experience in trauma acceptable for emergency room physicians, intensivists, anesthesiologists, general surgeons, and related specialties.
