North Island Hospital Comox Valley is seeking part‑time or full‑time Emergency Medicine Physicians.
Qualifications
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – Mandatory
- Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) – Mandatory
- Current College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC) license
- Full Canadian College of Family Practitioners (CCFP) – Emergency Medicine – Mandatory
- Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) – Mandatory
- Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC) – Mandatory
- Either CCFP‑EM or FRCPC Emergency certification is welcome.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive emergency care in a 24‑hour Emergency Department.
- Attend all cardiac arrests and code calls for admitted inpatients.
