SFVAMC/UCSF Emergency Department Staff Physician
The San Francisco VA Health Care System (SFVAHCS) is in search of applicants for Emergency Department Staff Physician positions (either Emergency Medicine or Internal Medicine trained). The SFVAHCS is a major teaching site for the University of California San Francisco (UCSF), and all department of medicine physicians enjoy a joint appointment at UCSF.
The SFVAHCS serves approximately 90,000 Veterans through the SFVA Medical Center (SFVAMC) and nine community-based outpatient clinics. The SFVAMC is a tertiary academic medical center with around 5,000 admissions per year, offering a full complement of specialty care services including interventional cardiology and gastroenterology, advanced oncology care, and advanced surgical care including orthopedics and neurosurgery.
