Job Description

Locum Tenens Opportunity: Emergency Medicine

Locations: North Adams, MA + Floating to BMC
Trauma Level: Level III
️ Total Beds: 32
Start Date: ASAP Temps available
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, priority for overnights (7 PM 7 AM)
Annual ER Volume: 55,000
APP Coverage: Yes

Key Responsibilities & Facility Info:

  • EMR: Meditech

  • Admissions: Performed by hospitalists

  • ED Responsible for: Supervising ambulance/paramedics by radio

  • OB Deliveries: Sent directly to Labor & Delivery (not the ED)

  • On-call Response Time: 30 minutes

  • No code responsibility for ED physicians ...
