Job Description
Coverage Needed:
- Start Date: As soon as credentialed
- End Date: Ongoing
- Shift Times: Mostly 7a-7p and 7p-7a at all sites
Clinical Information:
- Provider must be willing to work at FSED's associated with main facility
- Number of beds: 28-31
- Level 2 (ACS Level 1) Trauma Center
- Support Staff: APP coverage based on location and shift
- Average Patient Census: Most FSEDs are 2 patients per hour, Main sites are more variable
- Common Cases:
- FSEDs: Vertical 3 patients and Level 4/5 patients
- Main sites: Mainly Vertical 3 patients (abdominal pain, chest pain, etc.)
- unlikely to work in the Main (high acuity) section of these facilities unless provider specifically requests
- Number of EM Physicians Typically On Staff Per Shift: 1-2
