Job Description
The Department of Emergency Medicine at Headwaters Healthcare Centre is looking to add additional Emergency Medicine physicians. Our emergency physician group sees over 40,000 cases annually. Our physicians benefit from the 24‑hour support from our colleagues in general surgery, internal medicine, anesthesia, pediatrics, and obstetrics, as well as subspecialists in ENT, orthopedics, plastic surgery, ophthalmology and urology. There is 24/7 respiratory therapy support.
Physicians have access within the ER to two point‑of‑care ultrasound machines with transesophageal and endocavitary capabilities. State‑of‑the‑art diagnostic imaging equipment includes a 64‑slice CT scanner. An MRI machine is anticipated for January 2025.
