Overview
Burnaby Hospital is seeking full-time and part-time Emergency Physicians to join our physician group. Locum/temporary work opportunities are also available.
Responsibilities
Provide emergency medical care in a high-volume, high-acuity Emergency Department. Manage pediatric emergency patients and collaborate with hospital services to ensure timely and effective patient care. Participate in teaching opportunities and support education initiatives as a teaching site. Shift scheduling is flexible but equitable, and trades are facilitated by scheduling software.
Qualifications
- CCFP (EM) certification
- FRCPC (EM) certification
- CPSBC US certified class of registration (ABEM)
- Other international emergency medicine designation recognized by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia
- Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia
