Job Description
The Emergency Room Technician performs specialized work initiating emergent or appropriate care and assisting emergency department staff to help establish and maintain safety and an effective patient flow in the emergency department.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Completion of a state approved Basic EMT training program if applicable.
+ Appropriate State License/Certification; if required by state regulations and/or contract specifications.
+ One (1) year of experience as an ER Technician preferred.
+ Current CPR if applicable
+ TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
+ Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
