Purpose of Role
To provide high level legal and administrative support to the Senior Manager Employee Relations including drafting legal correspondence and providing legal opinions on employment law.
Role Context
Employee Relations Management
- Drafting legal correspondence to the CCMA, Bargaining Council, Trade Unions and employees.
- Putting together bundles for matters pending arbitration.
- Liasing with external legal counsel on various matters pending before the Labour Court.
- Drafting legal opinions on various ER issues.
- Preparing high-level ER reports for the Operations, Group and Executives.
- Performing ad hoc administrative functions.
- Ensure proper record keeping on various ER engagements including meetings with stakeholders.
