Job Description
Job Summary:
The Endoscopy Procedural Scheduler schedules all endoscopy and procedural procedures and assures that all of the appropriate clinical, equipment and insurance coding information is collected for the surgery schedule. Scheduler receives requests to schedule procedures from physician offices and schedules the procedure according to established guidelines and policies. Scheduler provides accurate information so that all departments may view daily, and maintains open communication with hospital departments and physician offices regarding schedule changes.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate's degree and 2 years of relevant endoscopy clinic or healthcare experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Strong computer skills required. Familiarity with Excel, Word, Windows and EPIC required. Must have excellent organizational skills and be detail oriented.
