**SUMMARY OF POSITION:**
Under direct supervision of a licensed health care practitioner, provides support to the Ambulatory Clinic GI team by; cleaning, sterilizing, and packaging instruments, maintaining inventory, transporting supplies, equipment, specimens, preparing rooms before and after procedures, greeting patients and their families. Assists a licensed health care practitioner by assisting during GI procedures in accordance with scope of licensure/certification.
