**Position Purpose**
Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, assists in providing nursing care to a designated patient population in collaboration with other members of the health care team.

**As an Endoscopy Tech, you will**
+ Applies principles in adhering to sterile technique
+ Assists physician with equipment during procedures
+ Handles specimens according to policies and procedures
+ Participates in the evaluation of new supplies, equipment and instruments
+ Chooses correct method and time frame for high level disinfection and sterilization of equipment
+ Performs other duties as assigned
