This role involves providing comprehensive legal support for diverse international projects.As part of the Northland Power team, you will focus on advising legal matters related to energy projects across the Americas and Europe. Your expertise will help manage acquisition processes, financial agreements, and support operational management. This full-time role may involve international travel and demands both collaborative teamwork and independent execution.Key Responsibilities:
• Advise on land matters and local agreements for projects
• Draft, negotiate, and review various commercial contracts
• Assist with project financing and partnership management
• Coordinate with specialty counsel internationally
• Provide insights on procurement and operations legalitiesRequirements:
• 2+ years of experience as a practicing lawyer
• Experience in M&A, divestments, and financing
• Advise on land matters and local agreements for projects
