Overview
As an Engine Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for the assembly of engine finished goods and sub‑components. Major aspects include the high‑quality assembly of progressive build engines, such as short and long block assembly, coupling for 3524 engines, addition of jewelry, and 1X parts. This role is responsible for the full‑cycle remanufacturing of standard rebuild engines per supplied instructions, and you may start in various steps of the assembly or sub‑assembly process depending on business needs.
Job Responsibilities
- Assembly of progressive built 3500 Series Engines, C175 Series Engines, and 3400 Series Engines.
- Assembly of sub‑components, including front and rear housings, oil pans, oil coolers, filter housings, fuel pumps, aftercooler, and fuel filters.
Qualifications
- Heavy Equipment Technician and/or Off‑Road Journeyperson ticket, or interprovincial RedSeal is required.
