:A Day in the life of a Finning Engine Preparation Engineer can involve pre delivery inspections and customisations across the Caterpillar range of engines. This is fast paced with fixed deadlines to meet customer demands. Due to this the required work schedule can often change and the successful candidate will need to be flexible and reactive.
Major Job Functions
Carry out pre delivery inspection on new engines to customer specification using our engine preparation order including engine conversions to the agreed work plan, removing and dispatching components for specialist attention, re-installing the original or replacement parts.
