About the role
Reporting to the Senior Geotechnical Engineer, you will play a vital role in managing geotechnical risk across the underground operation, blending daily underground inspections, geotechnical analysis, modelling, and technical support to mine planning and production teams.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting daily underground inspections and managing geotechnical hazardsCollecting geotechnical data (mapping, core logging, etc)Evaluating underground workings and recommending rehabilitation approachesCompleting numerical modelling and analysing mine sequencingReviewing designs for stability and recommending ground support requirementsInterpreting seismic data and structural informationSupporting internal and external geotechnical audits and QA/QC processesPartnering closely with Mining Operations, Engineering and MTS teams Abou...
