Job Title: Engineer in Training (EIT) II
Location: Edmonton, AB
Length: 1 Year (with potential extension)
Rotation: 3 days in office (Mon/Tues/Thurs) and 2 days remote (Wed/Friday)
Role Summary
This position supports and maintains existing and future External Leak Detection Systems (ELDS) installed by company TIS PCSLD Leak Detection and owned by the Facilities & HCA Leak Detection Program. The Facilities & HCA LD Program mitigates leak risk across facilities, remote sites, and high consequence areas that do not meet internal risk targets by deploying ELDS solutions. The role works closely with stakeholders including LP Risk Management, Pipeline Integrity, and Facilities Integrity to identify priority locations and implement fit‑for‑purpose technologies. Current ELDS technologies include EVTeam Hydrocarbon Sensing Cables, Hifi Engineering Fiber Optic Cable, and GE ThreatScan systems.
