Job Overview
The Material Planning Engineer will be responsible for working within a team of individuals to manage spares and materials forecast for the Fab tools. The engineer will work with the various Fab Process areas to ensure spares and materials are accurately forecasted and liaise with Procurement to ensure sufficient stocking levels. The engineer will also work closely with the cost management and finance team on budgeting, compliance to budget and cost benchmarking. This responsibility may include identifying cost‑effective sustaining manufacturing improvements, minimizing regular expenditures, and helping to promote a cost‑conscious culture.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain accurate Build of Material planning model of assigned commodities or Spares PM Maintenance Plan planning model of assigned Fab area.
