About Our Group Material Science Lab is part of the Research and Development facilities located in Shugart building to support all Hard Disk Drives (HDD) and some non-HDD material related selection, qualification, failure analysis, etc. The functions of the team include performing material, coating and adhesive level selection, testing and qualification for HDDs, and performing component proactive qualifications for HDD programs. In addition, the lab is involved in advanced material development / selection. The lab also has multiple cross-site &/or cross-functional collaborations on various projects and areas of work. About The Role - You Will Responsible for the characterization and qualification of HDD components and materials, with a focus on component cleanliness & reliability performance.
